Frequently Asked Questions
In most scenarios, I like to keep my edits natural, bright, and true to what I see as the photographer when taking the photo. I am always open to requests for certain styles unique to your photoshoot so please communicate with me before your shoot if you are looking for something in particular!
For certain photoshoots, like weddings, engagements, and portrait sessions I will send 3-5 editing styles for customer(s) to choose their preferred style so I can edit the rest of their album in a similar fashion.
I will send edited photos from most photoshoots within 5-7 business days. However, if there is a time crunch please let me know ahead of time and I will do my best to provide you with your photos at the highest quality using the best editing techniques within your desired timeline!
For longer photo sessions where you will be receiving more edited photos this process will be longer. For example, most weddings will take somewhere between 2-4 weeks to receive your full album, but I do like to share some edited preview photos within a few days to give the couple a taste of the rest of the photos to come!
This question is very dependent on the nature of the shoot and the duration. A good rule of thumb, is a minimum of 30 edited final photos per 60 minutes of photo session.
Before agreeing upon working together I like to make sure I understand my clients' expectations fully so we should have a set minimum number of photos you should receive well before our photoshoot date. Keep in mind, I typically like to send extra photos!
You will receive your photos via digital folder that will be shared with you for future access either through Dropbox or Google Drive.
I keep final photos from all of my photoshoots backed up on multiple hard drives for at least five years, but I do ask that you download your digital folder to multiple devices as well to make sure they are protected in the unfortunate event of any type of digital memory failure.
